  • Keep Calm and Carry on to Coolings!

Unfortunately we have been notified of a further temporary road closure at the bottom of Rushmore Hill in Pratt’s Bottom. However, despite this temporary road closure, we’re happy to announce: it’s business as usual at Coolings – with a short scenic detour!

Starting 7th July, the closure will last for a few weeks but customers approaching from the north can still reach Coolings The Gardeners’ Garden Centre and Coolings Lifestyle easily via a clearly marked diversion route. For customers coming from Sevenoaks to The Gardener’s Garden Centre or Coolings Lifestyle please note that the route up Star Hill will be unaffected. Please see the map below for details.

Both of our Coolings Centres in Knockholt will remain open as usual, and we’re here to make the extra few minutes on your journey worth your while!

The Gardener’s Garden Centre is ready to welcome you with a huge range of plants and shrubs (many of which are home grown right here on our nursery), expert gardening advice, and delicious treats in Arthurs Restaurant.

While just a mile up the road is Coolings Lifestyle which has a fantastic array of indoor and outdoor furniture, home accessories, gifts and toys, plus, the Blueberry Café serving wonderful dishes available to enjoy on the large outdoor terrace. It is also home to Willows Birds of Prey and Wildlife Trail which is a great attraction for families during the school holidays.

As a thank you for making the extra effort to visit us this summer while we’re a little less easy to get to, we’re treating our Coolings Family members to a £15 voucher* when you shop with us 3 times or more from April to August.

We’ll be keeping everyone updated via our website, emails and social media, so please keep an eye on these. If you are already a Coolings family member but aren’t receiving emails from us, please click here to add your email. If you’re yet to join Coolings Family, please ask at the tills next time you visit and one of the team will be happy to help you.
